APPLYING FOR SGP-5 GRANTS
The community-based approach is SGP's cornerstone for addressing local and global environmental and sustainable development challenges, and SGP provides grants directly to civil society organizations (CSOs), notably national and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), and indigenous people's organizations. SGP grantees may also include other not-for-profit organizations such as professional associations, unions and other civil society groups.SGP5 Philippines is accepting proposals of projects that contribute to global biodiversity conservation using the landscape approach, modeling, and implementation of best practices.The maximum grant amount per project is US$50,000, with an average amount of around US$25,000.
