So there’s this bug that randomly hits me. I’ve already updated to the latest fixes and releases but this still happens. So I guess the big boys are still onto it.
Meanwhile, I found a neat trick that could reset the touch pad without me having to reboot the entire system.
On the terminal:
sudo rmmod psmouse && sudo modprobe psmouse
Voila! And you’re back. Well, it still is an irritation that you’ll have to do this. Then again, it’s much better than a complete reboot.
