while working a short PHP script, actually a very simple script, that worked well on my laptop running Apache on Windows XP but generated an error when transferred to my working server running Apache on RedHat, that EOL conversions actually mattered.
There is such a thing! Well, I knew this existed but then again I’d say I simply took it for granted until today.
Anyway, to resolve this, Notepad++ has this handy dandy “command” under the Edit menu that automatically does EOL conversions.
